This is a song by Tom Paxton. Paxton wrote a number of wonderful songs back in the 60’s and 70’s, and still continues to write and sing I believe. I loved his early ones. They are simple, easy-to-play songs, yet very captivating. Ramblin’ Boy is one of his classics.

“He left us here to ramble on. My ramblin’ pal is dead and gone. But if when we die we go somewhere. I’ll betcha a dollar he’s ramblin’ there”

I dedicate this song to my friend George Schulman, who passed away over twenty years ago. George also liked Tom Paxton.
