Singin’ for Hank

This is another of Bumbastories’ honoriums, this time to Hank Williams, the great Hank Williams, who, like a shooting star, flared briefly across our (Country &) Western skies. Hank is unsurpassed as a singer and songwriter. Like a shooting star, Hank rose to stardom and then burned out. At age 30 he was already dead. Hank’s is a great legacy, and hopefully we are not tarnishing his image too much when we try to do his songs. Bumbas did Half As Much the other day, a simple song (written by Curley Williams in 1951). Look up Hank Williams on your own and check him out. Hank was the greatest. Let’s keep singing his songs!
