(No, No. Let’s try it again)

Captured in a moment of intimacy, our cement elephants ……

(No, No. Let me try something else)

An intimate view of our beloved cement animal sculptures, the cement Ice-Age elephants to be precise, in a rare moment of proximity, nay dare we call it intimacy……

(No, No. We’ll have to write this caption again)

In the meantime……..Bumbastories presents: An Interview with the author Sylvester Bumba, who, together with the celebrated roaming reporter George Packard and the Bumbastories’ loyal staff of intrepid, muckraking, mud-slinging, digger-up reporters, has succeeded in capturing the majestic wisdom of these cement elephants sculptures!

Interviewer: Tell me, Bumba. How do you do it? How do you continue (some would say persist) to come up with such wisdom, and I may add, such an endless stream of sound advice and beatitudes. How do you do it?

Bumba: Duhh. You mean about the elephants?

Interviewer: Yes. Of course. From these charming pachydermal pillars of wisdom…

Bumba: The elephants?

Interviewer: Yes, of course, Bumba…

Bumba: Well, Of course you have to remember that they’re brainless and lacking in any neurological apparatus. They’re lifeless, motionless. They’re made of cement. They possess zero intelligence…..

Yeah, that too.
I resemble that remark!

Interviewer: That was definitely a cheap joke Bumba. And what an awful circuitous walk you took us on just to get to it! And it’s a joke, I may add, that you’ve already used on several other occasions on this blog.

Bumba: I resemble that remark!

Interviewer: Hey. Can’t we get serious here?

Listen buddy. The last time this cement animal sculpture was serious was back in 12,050 B.C.E.
