Syncopated
Between my heartbeat and the world
Somewhere in the bass line
Interwoven with this afternoon’s
Sunlight
And curled through my being
There lies a sympathy
As we sit outside the restaurant
The sunlight pours down
On our little table
We sip our cappuccinos slowly
For somewhere
Between the Music of the Spheres
And the hum of the earth mother
We feel a sympathy
Beautifully penned Bumba! lovely.
Thank you!
Oh, yes—lovely, Bumba!
Thank you!
I always wondered about the music of the spheres, they would have to be harmonised, otherwise you’d get a mix of techno, jazz, and folk music. Nobody wants that cacophony on their walkman.
Not to mention the cacaphony of all those planets getting tangled up all the time.
Like old school phone wires, I bet much hilarity would ensue in that case.
Beautifully written! ❤️
Thank you!
Love that Bumba!!
Thank you. I liked it too.
